The painting consists of a canvas refined with hammered metal and silver leaf, which was produced using the oil gilding technique. It was previously primed in several layers, including with chalk primer. The base metals were artificially oxidized to change their color.
In between, glazes of linseed oil paint were used to give the metals warm, earthy tones. The result is an abstract landscape that presents itself differently depending on the perspective and incidence of light.

The painting measures 100 × 100 × 2 cm and was created in 2016. The photos were taken by Tanja Brückner.
